We are a COVID 19 Vaccination Provider

Saratoga Medical is a proud critical partner in Australia’s COVID-19 Vaccine National Roll-out Strategy. Our team will provide comprehensive COVID-19 immunisation coverage for our local populations.

Studies show that COVID-19 vaccines are effective at keeping you from getting COVID-19. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine will also help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19.

COVID-19 vaccine

There is a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccines in Australia and globally. This means, people who have the highest risk of severe COVID-19 and/or exposure to the virus will receive the vaccine first. Other people will be vaccinated over time. Find out who will be prioritised for vaccination by visiting www.health.gov.au/covid19-vaccines.

The COVID-19 vaccine is free, and you can choose whether to have it or not.

Don’t book in to have a vaccine until you are certain that you know enough to proceed and if you are eligible.

  • If you are unclear about whether you want to have the vaccine, please do not book in for a rapid Covid-19 vaccination clinic.
  • Vaccination clinic appointments are for people who have enough information and are ready to go ahead.
  • Most appointments will be short (4-5 minutes).
  • There will be no time to answer detailed questions about the vaccination on the day – you can book a specific appointment for this or ask when in for another reason.

Possible side effects

You may have side effects after vaccination, but these are normal.

After COVID-19 vaccination, you may have some side effects. These are normal signs that your body is building protection. The side effects from COVID-19 vaccination, such as chills or tiredness, may affect your ability to do daily activities, and they should go away in a few days.

Please note, there is not 100% protection after any immunisation, so please continue to be Covid-aware – keep a safe distance from others, wash or sanitise your hands frequently, get tested and then stay home if you are sick, cover your mouth when you cough, wear a mask if required in your area or if you are going into crowded places.
