Dr Karen Atanis finished her medical degree in 2005 and has been a trained paediatrician in the Philippines since 2010.
She has been a sub-investigator for a clinical research trial for an international drug company. Dr Atanis worked as paediatric registrar and held RMO positions at Hornsby Hospital and around Sydney.
She has worked as a panel physician for Bupa Medical Visa Services under Department of Immigration. Dr Atanis practised around Kempsey, Port Macquarie and Lake Macquarie during her GP training. Her special interests include paediatric health, women’s health, and chronic disease management. She loves travelling with her husband, and after work she loves walking along the beach with her dog.
Dr Karen works Tuesdays and Thursdays.
