Dr Peter McGimpsey has been a General Practitioner for 17 years. He was trained in the UK and was one of only three candidates to receive a distinction in his Membership Examination. Before becoming a GP he worked for 6 years in the hospital gaining experience in general,respiratory, geriatric, paediatric, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, A&E, Pathology and Psychiatric medicine.
Dr Peter has Diplomas in Geriatric, Psychiatry and Lifestyle medicine with an Advanced Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. He has also been a GP Appraiser and a GP Trainer.
Dr Peter lives on the Central Coast having moved from Northern Ireland in 2013 with his wife and 4 kids. Special interests include musculoskeletal medicine including joint injections, chronic disease management and dermatology.
Outside interests include sailing and family.
